One of the amazing things about living in Atlanta is having access to great things to do with your children. I just visited the Emory Child Study Center with my three year old son for two recent research studies for children his age.
The first one was a language study where he heard a variety of words and was asked what shape they meant. Some we real words. Some were made up words and others were from Asian languages.
But A.J. loved the experience. He got to visit a new place, meet new friends and pick roulette spielen out a toy for his hard work. The study took less than an hour and I stayed with him the whole time. Parking was free on the Emory University campus. I”ll get an e-newsletter shortly about what the language study revealed.
Today, we went back to take a study about spatial understanding. He was asked what image was the middle size and was rewarded with stickers for each try.
